Shp Foreman - architectural millwork
KASTELLA is a local cabinet shop that specializes in producing high-end furniture and architectural millwork.
The shop foreman, under the guidance of the managing director, is responsible for overseeing daily production in the workshop. They ensure that all custom cabinetry and millwork projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with the company's quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, mentor and support cabinetmakers and finishers.
- Supervise the production manager in assigning daily/weekly tasks according to production schedules.
- Supervise production to ensure ongoing quality control.
- Review estimates prepared by the project manager and provide feedback.
- Coordinate schedules, sequences and technical clarifications with the project manager and designer.
- Oversee the production of technical drawings.
- Coordinate the construction site and supervise installation.
- Plan purchases of materials and hardware.
- Perform all other related duties.

Education & Experience:
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in cabinetmaking
- Team management experience
- DEP or AEC training in technical drawing or industrial design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software
- Knowledge of cabinetmaking techniques
- Proficiency in French
Position:
- Permanent position (35-40 hours per week)

- Monday to Friday (on-site)
- Day shift only
